Beyond the Fundamental Factors - 16 Steps to Lift-Off

Entrepreneurs always seem to be in a hurry to get started.  OK, here are the microwave instructions.

1. Buy the book - so you learn all the M-words and how to apply them. It's cheap.
2. Read the book.  And do the exercises.  Sorry, even the microwave takes a little time.
3. Check your supply of MOXIE, starting with your Motivation.
4. Find a Market with built-in growth over an extended period.
5. Identify a compelling end-user need within that Market.
6. Invent some Magic - a fresh, differentiable response to that need.
7. Apply Modesty - it probably isn't as cool as you think.
8. Run the whole thing by Mentors - some really smart, well-informed people whom you trust.
   
9. Modify as required.
10. Prepare a powerful Message that clearly conveys the essence of your Magic.
11. Devise a business Model that will make a pile of Money - both big enough and fast enough.
    
12. Map out your whole action plan, paying careful attention to the Mechanics.
13. Run the Message, Model, and Map by your Mentors.
    
14. Modify as required.
15. Re-check your supply of MOXIE.
16. Take a deep breath and go for it!
